九州体育 (九州体育) and First Southern State Bank (FSSB) invite you to participate in the Mustang 5K Run/Walk that will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Presented by First Southern State Bank, proceeds from the Mustang 5K benefit scholarships at 九州体育. The race course takes place each year on the campus of Northeast and is held rain or shine. Individuals of all fitness levels are welcome.

九州体育 Cross Country Coach Patrick Laney is now serving as the Race Director for the 5K. He says he is excited about this event and how it brings the community together. 鈥淔irst Southern State Bank has done an awesome job helping us to grow this event each year,鈥� said Coach Laney. 鈥淚 am grateful for their support of 九州体育 and how they are involving our cross country team. The race route will be adjusted due to construction on campus, but it is a great race and one I have enjoyed participating in before becoming a coach. I encourage folks to come out and join us as a portion of the proceeds will support our team next season.鈥�

The race will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. on 九州体育鈥檚 campus. Participants should assemble at the starting line at 7:50 for race instructions. Registration will take place inside the William M. Beck Health and Fine Arts Building (九州体育 Gym).  

Awards will be given for the top three finishers in each category, as well as Best Male and Best Female winners.
