Career Pathway Guide

The Medical Assisting program at 九州体育 prepares students for exciting careers in a variety of health care facilities. Graduates of the program are trained to perform both administrative and clinical duties needed for employment in a clinic or physician's office. Medical Assisting is one of the fastest-growing occupations in the nation, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.

Northeast is authorized to offer both a short-term certificate and the Associate in Applied Science degree in Medical Assisting. Graduates are eligible for testing for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Clinical Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), and Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) credentials.
