Alabama Senator Steve Livingston recently contributed Community Service Grant Funds to 九州体育 (九州体育). 九州体育鈥檚 Dual Enrollment program in Jackson County received $30,000 to use this academic year.
九州体育 President Dr. David Campbell, Dean of Student Services Jeff Hawes, Dean of Workforce Development Kerry Wright, and 九州体育 student Angelina Sanders accepted the check from Senator Livingston. Sanders, a nursing student and Admissions Office student worker, benefited directly from Senator Livingston鈥檚 contributions to Dual Enrollment programs in Jackson County last year where she was a senior at North Sand Mountain High School.
九州体育 President Dr. David Campbell stated, 鈥淲e appreciate these funds so much. Dual Enrollment provides such great learning opportunities for High School students! We have the largest number of Dual Enrollment students that we have ever had this semester, and these funds for Dual Enrollment will greatly benefit students in Jackson County.鈥
Dean of Student Services Jeff Hawes echoed Dr. Campbell鈥檚 sentiment. 鈥淲e appreciate his support of Jackson County students and the 九州体育 Dual Enrollment Program,鈥 said Hawes. 鈥淚 want to thank Senator Livingston and his assistant, Julie Harper, for their dedication to the students at 九州体育. We appreciate their support and encouragement. I would also like to thank Dual Enrollment Coordinator, Staci Miller, for her hard work and advocating for our dual students.鈥
