The 九州体育 (九州体育) Mustangs are proud to announce the schedule for their inaugural women鈥檚 softball season. This is an exciting milestone for 九州体育, as the college鈥檚 athletics programs continue to expand.

九州体育鈥檚 impressive new softball facility looks to wrap-up construction soon. The team is now able to practice on the field, and the training facility which will be utilized by all student athletes is nearing completion. In the meantime, the Mustang softball team will play its home games in Scottsboro, thanks to the Scottsboro High School Lady Wildcats softball team.

The Mustangs will kick off their historic season against the Gadsden State Cardinals in Scottsboro.

The Northeast Mustangs are eager to showcase their talent in this inaugural season. The team, led by Head Coach Joe Guthrie, has been working tirelessly to build a strong foundation and is ready to make a statement in their first year of competition.

鈥淲e are very excited about the many opportunities ahead for our team,鈥� said Coach Guthrie. 鈥淥ur players have been working very hard to earn some big opportunities in front of them.鈥�

Northeast鈥檚 state-of-the-art women's softball stadium is also nearing completion on campus, and the team is now  practicing on the field. The stadium will be lit via LEDs, the grandstands will be covered by a roof, and artificial turf will cover the infield and outfield. Locker rooms and a training facility will also be included. McKee and Associates of Montgomery are the architects for the project and Sports Turf of Georgia is the construction company building the stadium.  P & C Construction, a local company, is also part of the stadium construction.
